The All-MCAC and the NJCAA All-Region 13 Men's Soccer Teams have been announced for the 2024 season.
The postseason awards for men's soccer are selected by the men's soccer head coaches in the MCAC. The All-MCAC Team is a 15-member team, while the All-Region 13 Team is an 10-member team.
Prince Lebbi, forward for Minnesota West Community and Technical College, has been selected as the MCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Year. Lebbi scored seven goals and assisted on three in his 12 games this season. He scored on 21.2% of his shots during the season and led Minnesota West to a 5-8-1 overall record and a 4-3-1 record in the MCAC.
Frank Spaeth, head coach of Riverland Community College, has been named the MCAC Men's Soccer Coach of the Year. Spaeth led his Blue Devils' team to their first-ever MCAC title, going 9-3-3 overall and 6-1-1 in MCAC play.
The Region 13 MVP and Coach of the Year were named following the Region 13 Championship Game on Sunday. Camden Williams, goalkeeper for Riverland Community College, was named the region's MVP after an incredible season in the net. Williams played in 15 games this season and had 105 saves while giving up only 18 goals. His 1.21 goals-against average was tops in the MCAC, and Williams recorded three shutouts on the season. His coach, Frank Spaeth, was named the Region 13 Coach of the Year after leading his team to their second straight Region 13 title. Spaeth's team compiled a 9-3-3 overall record this season. After defeating Alexandria Technical and Community College 5-0 in the Region 13 Championship Game, Spaeth will take his team to Joliet Community College on Saturday to play in the Midwest District Championship. With a win, the Blue Devils will advance to the NJCAA DIII Men's Soccer National Championship Tournament in November.
