Rochester Claims Region 13 Women's Soccer Championship; All-MCAC and All-Region 13 Teams Announced

Rochester, MN –

Rochester Community and Technical College claimed the 2024 Region 13 title by defeating Anoka-Ramsey Community College 7-2 on Saturday. With the win, the Yellowjackets advance to the NJCAA Midwest District Tournament to square off against Owens Community College on Friday. Following the championship game, the following individuals were named to the Region 13 Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team:

Anoka-Ramsey Community College - Kristina Olson, Grace Stevenson, Maya Reichert-Giron, and Holly Howard.

Rochester Community and Technical College - Kaylee Narveson, Bella Nanoski, Emma Scheppmann, Campbell Cognac, Emily Morales, Mila Van Der Velde, and Lilly Farrand.

Lilly Farrand, a midfielder for Rochester Community and Technical College, was named the MCAC Player of the Year and the Region 13 MVP. In 11 games, Farrand scored 14 goals to lead the MCAC in scoring, and she assisted on seven goals. Farrand scored on 33.3% of her shots and had three game-winning goals this season.

Bryan Weiss, head coach for Rochester Community and Technical College, was selected as the MCAC and Region 13 Coach of the Year. Weiss led his Yellowjackets to an 8-2-1 overall record and a 4-0 record in MCAC play.  

On the heels of the championship game, the head women's soccer coaches selected the 2024 All-MCAC and All-Region 13 Women's Soccer Teams. Those teams are listed below:
