MCAC/Region 13 Championship Football Game Information

The MCAC/Region 13 Championship Football Game returns to St. Cloud State University Husky Stadium on Sunday, November 3, 2024, with a 1:00 PM kickoff. The game that has been the goal of each MCAC football team this season will feature the #3 team in the nation, North Dakota State College of Science, taking on Minnesota North College - Mesabi Range, which is receiving votes in the latest national poll. The winner stays alive in the race to get to the NJCAA DIII Football National Championship Game (Red Grange Bowl) in Glen Ellyn, IL, on December 7.

As the top seed in this season's MCAC Playoffs and the #3 NJCAA DIII ranked team in the nation, North Dakota State College of Science brings a 8-1 overall and 6-0 MCAC record into the championship game. The Wildcats won the MCAC regular season, averaging 31.1 points per game with nearly 200 yards rushing per game. NDSCS leads the conference in defensive interceptions with 16 and has totaled 497 tackles this season, averaging 55 per game.

After finishing the regular season as the third seed in the playoff tournament, Minnesota North College - Mesabi Range improved their record to 4-3 overall (3-3 in the MCAC) after winning their semifinal matchup with Rochester Community and Technical College. MNC-Mesabi Range advances to the MCAC Championship Game for the first time this decade. The Norse average 313 yards per game, led by 2023 All-American Johnathan Mosley at quarterback. MNC-Mesabi Range leads the MCAC in red-zone scoring (12-18), and defensively, they have 430 tackles on the season and 14 sacks.

Fans, please note: Tickets are CASH ONLY and can be purchased at the Husky Stadium ticket booth on Sunday.  St. Cloud State University stadium policy does not allow for unpaid re-entry.  Bring all necessary blankets, coats, and related items when you enter the stadium for the game.

Fans should park in Lot K on the SCSU campus.

No tailgating is permitted.
