Alexandria, MN -
North Dakota State College of Science won the 2025 MCAC Clay Target Championship in Alexandria, MN, on Tuesday. The Wildcats shot 430 targets (87-87-87-85-84) to win the title on a blistering cold and windy day, outscoring second-place Central Lakes College (410) and third-place Ridgewater College (410) each by twenty targets.
Lance Klersy (Central Lakes College) had the high score of the day with 93 targets, followed by Jacob Brueggemeier (Ridgewater College) with 90 and a reverse run of 17, and Alex Young (Anoka-Ramsey Community College) with 90 and a reverse run of 9.
230 participants from 15 MCAC programs participated in the one-day championship that was held at the Alexandria Shooting Park. Two sessions of shooting were held, with each participant firing at 50 clays in each session.
