To say that M State-Fergus Falls pitcher Jake Dykhoff had a fantastic Friday would be understatement; Dykhoff threw a perfect game against Erie Community College, racking up 14 strikeouts and issuing no walks to pick up his second win of 2019.

Not that it was needed on the day, but Dykhoff received strong run support from his Spartan teammates, as they scored 8 runs in the 7-inning contest to provide a comfortable lead heading in the late stages of the game.  M State has won four straight, notching W's against Minnesota West (10-6), Vermilion Community College (2-1) and SUNY-Adirondack (12-2) prior to Dykhoff's perfect game win today over Erie.  Dykhoff also went the distance in a 9-2 Spartan victory over Niagra County Community College earlier this week. 

M State will seek to keep the momentum rolling today as they face Century College in their second game of the day in sunny, Lake Myrtle, Florida.
