With the conclusion of the 2019 Minnesota College Athletic Conference baseball regular season, head coaches took time to recognize players around the diamond with All-Divisions honors. The 2019 MCAC Baseball Southern All-Division team, as voted on by Conference coaches - is as follows.

Yadiel Ortiz Patillas, Puerto Rico Riverland Community College |
Yadiel Ortiz, a sophomore at Riverland Community College, collected an amazing 60 RBI's in 43 games for the Blue Devis. Ortiz hit .381 on the year, had three home runs and scored 23 runs himself. On the mound, Ortiz had six wins in seven starts, with three complete games to his credit.

Jake Hansen Coon Rapids, MN Anoka-Ramsey Community College |
Jake Hansen, a sophomore at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, led his team in at-bats at 104 for the season. His time at the plate was well spent, hitting for a .377 average and a .596 slugging percentage. Hansen hit four home runs and 13 doubles. On the mound, the Golden Ram registered three wins and a save in nearly 50 innings of work.

Javier Ramos Fajardo, Puerto Rico Riverland Community College |
Javier Ramos, a freshman at Riverland Community College was an offensive force, hitting for a .420 average with ten home runs and 48 RBI. He collected 86 total bases for the Blue Devils, second-most in the MCAC in 2019. He registered a .768 slugging percentage.

Jeremiah Van De Steeg Hutchinson, MN Rochester Community & Technical College |
Jeremiah Van De Steeg, a sophomore at Rochester Community & Technical College, led the Southern Division in wins, with seven "W"s this year. The Yellowjacket pitcher had seven complete games, two shutouts and tossed over 52 innings for RCTC. His Divisional ERA was 2.30.

Kevin Brandt Neilsville, WI Western Technical College |
Kevin Brandt, a sophomore at Western Technical College, hit .369 this year with three home runs; he also stole seven bases in 22 games played. Brandt collected 36 total bases for the Cavaliers.

Tucker Sorenson Worthington, MN Minnesota West Community & Technical College |
Tucker Sorenson, a student-athlete at Minnesota West Community & Technical College, stole 16 bases for the Blue Jays this season, along with collecting a .337 batting average. Sorenson also racked up four wins on the mound in ten pitching appearances for MnWest.

Ethan Hurn Granada, MN Rochester Community & Technical College |
Ethan Hurn, a sophomore at Rochester Community & Technical College, appeared in 33 games for the Yellowjackets, scoring 22 times. He stole six bases and knocked a home run while plating 15 RBI this spring. Hurn also had two wins on the mound in six starts for Rochester.

Ben Johnson Elk River, MN Anoka-Ramsey Community College |
Ben Johnson, a freshman at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, cracked three triples, three home runs and collected 30 hits overall this spring. He had a .366 batting average, stole four bases and scored 24 times. Johnson also picked up a win on the mound and pitched 14.1 innings for ARCC this year.

Matt Rhodes Carlisle, IA Rochester Community & Technical College |
Matt Rhodes, a sophomore at Rochester Community & Technical College led his team in plate appearances with 97 on the year. He batted .309 during that time, collecting a team-high 30 hits, including three home runs. His 27 RBI and 17 doubles also led RCTC in those categories.

Johnnie Mieses Minnesota West Community & Technical College |
Johnnie Mieses, a student-athlete at Minnesota West Community & Technical College, hit for an even .400 average this season as a Blue Jay, driving in 26 runs and scoring 13 times himself. Mieses appeared in 35 games and had an on-base percentage of .491 overall.
