Kosik to lead Vermilion Football

Vermilion Community College has tabbed Justin Kosik as it's next head football coach.  Kosik comes to VCC and Ely from East Los Angeles College, where he served as both the linebackers coach and strength and conditioning coordinator. 

In 2017, East Los Angeles went 7-3 overall and 5-1 in conference play.  Kosik has had stops in Texas, as well as Victor Valley (Ca) College and coaching roles in football, basketball and track.  Kosik has earned his bachelor's degree from Texas State University and his graduate degree from A.T. Still University. 

In the Minnesota College Athletic Conference football ranks, Vermilion went 3-6 overall in 2017, while advancing to the MCAC Playoffs, falling 24-8 to Central Lakes College in the first round.
