Heading into week two action, the Minnesota West CTC - Mesabi Range College matchup offered fans, families and followers another look at two 1-0 teams coming off of impressive week one wins.   

The BlueJays and Norsemen did not disappoint, needing an extra stanza to settle a 25-25 tie after four quarters of MCAC football action in Mt. Iron, Minnesota. 

In the end,  the Mesabi Range College prevailed over MnWest, winning by a 28-25 scoreline, pushing their record to 2-0 overall on the year, while the BlueJays fall to .500 at 1-1. 

Sophomore placekicker Connor Kusic (Virgina, MN) tied the game with a field-goal in the second half to knot the game at 25 apiece, then he hit an OT field goal to win it, 28-25.
