The following student-athletes have been named Players-of-the-Week in football for the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.
MCAC Eastern Division Player-of-the-Week, Offense
Michell Miller QB / Freshman Kansas City, MO

Itasca Community College quarterback Mitchell Miller had a great day leading the Viking offense in a 54-3 win over Rochester Community & Technical College on Saturday. Miller passed for 550 yards, completing 21 of his 35 attempts for ICC. His longest thrown was a 70-yard completion and he connected on four touchdown tosses. Nine different receivers had receptions from Miller, who did not have an interception in the contest. D'Monta Harris and DauQuan Mackey both benefited from Miller's accuracy, collecting 209 and 153 receiving yards respectively. Miller and Itasca finish Eastern Division play with 3-2 mark and will complete the regular season on Thursday, hosting Northland CTC at 3pm.

MCAC Eastern Division Player-of-the-Week, Defense Gabriel Magelei LB / Freshman Hermitage, TN

Gabriel 'Bubba' Magalei has earned MCAC Eastern Division Player-of-the-Week for his role in the Central Lakes College 38-20 win over FDLTCC on Saturday. Magalei had 12 tackles, equally distributed between solo stops and assists, as well as a pass breakup for the Raiders. Over three of his tackles were behind the line of scrimmage for CLC and he led all players in tackles on the day. Central Lakes concluded their Eastern Division schedule with a 5-0 mark and will wrap up their regular season on Saturday, October 20 when they host M State-Fergus Falls at 1:30pm.

MCAC Eastern Division Special Teams Player-of-the-Week Fr. / Kicker Cromwell, MN

Placekicker Erico Francato has been tabbed the Special Teams Player-of-the-Week in the MCAC Eastern Division football ranks. Francato was two-for-three on field goal attempts on Saturday, including a 37 yard effort. He also was four-of-six on PAT's, accounting for 10 points on the day. Handling the kickoff duties, he had ten kicks for 260 total yards. Francato and the Vikings finish Eastern Division play with 3-2 mark and will complete the regular season on Thursday, hosting Northland CTC at 3pm.
