MCAC Football Athletes-of-the-Week: Eastern Division

The 2019 football season in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference has produced the Week One MCAC Athletes-of-the-Week.   Adidas, the United States Marine Corps and Nicklasson Athletic Company sponsor the MCAC Athlete-of-the-Week awards, and proudly honor the following student-athletes for their performances this past week on behalf of their teams.

The Performance: 

Reed rushed 27 times for 146 total yards for Central Lakes College... Averaged 5.4 yard a carry... Reed had a longest run of 65 yards on the day for the victorious Raiders.

The Performance: 

Cameron Strapp ten total tackles against Minnesota West... four of Strapp's tackles were sacks, good for 19 yards in loss yardage... Eight of his tackles were solo stops ... ICC notched a shutout over MnWest, 26-0

The Performance: 

Hines collected two tackles in the CLC win over Dakota College, despite being triple-teamed on most snaps...Anchored a defense that held the 'Jacks to 23 yards in total offense...Second-year veteran who leads by example.

The Performance:

Michael Hall was perfect on PAT's, going 4-for-4 on the day... Hit two field goals, the longest being 35 yards...kicked two punts for FDLTCC in the win over M State-Fergus Falls
