Busy Saturday in MCAC Football

Winona, MN-

Five football games in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference will kickoff today, Saturday, September 7, around the league.  

Grand Rapids, Rochester, Mt. Iron, Worthington and Superior, Wisconsin all play host to an important Week Three round of MCAC Football contests.  Two schools which have received mention in the national poll - North Dakota State College of Science and Itasca Community College - headline a slate of 1:30pm starts; the early afternoon slot also includes Northland CTC at Rochester CTC and Dakota College-Bottineau at Mesabi Range College.  

Later in the afternoon, unbeaten Central Lakes College takes on Minnesota West CTC at 2:30pm and local rivalry Vermilion Community College vs. Fond du Lac Tribal & Community College close out the day at 5pm in a game played at NBC Stadium Superior, Wisconsin.
