Fans, families and followers of men's basketball in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference will likely have their eyes on Anoka-Ramsey Community College today as the top two seeds in the 2018-19 Region XIII Men's Basketball Tournament meet at 3pm in the Championship contest. The match-up will feature the Central Lakes College Raiders (24-5 Overall /15-1 MCAC North) and the Riverland Community College Blue Devils ( 24 - 5 Overall / 10-4 MCAC South) in an exciting final game of the MCAC men's basketball season.

In addition, the MCAC 2018-19 All-State team in men's basketball has been named for the 2018-19 season. Fourteen players from across both the Northern and Southern Divisions of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference were selected by the head coaches for this prestigious honor. Chris Buckley (Central Lakes College) and Justin Castro (Anoka-Ramsey Community College) highlight the list which includes student-athletes from 10 different programs.
