Winona, MN-
In the Minnesota College Athletic Conference, men's basketball teams in the Northern Division found themselves chasing Central Lakes College throughout the 2019-20 regular season. No team in the MCAC North was able to dent the Raider record, with Central Lakes finishing 16-0 in league play and claiming the MCAC Northern Division championship.
In the race for the remaining three post-season spots, Northland Community & Technical College, Hibbing Community College and Rainy River Community College outlasted a competitive field of several teams to qualify for the 2019-20 NJCAA North Plains District Tournament. Lake Superior College finished just outside the post-season ranks, followed by Mesabi Range, Itasca, Vermilion and Fond du Lac Tribal & Community College.
