The 2019 soccer season in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference has produced the Week Three MCAC Athletes-of-the-Week; Riverland Community College and Rochester Community & Technical College have athletes honored for recent performances.   

Adidas, the United States Marine Corps and Nicklasson Athletic Company  sponsor the MCAC Athlete-of-the-Week awards, and proudly honor the following student-athletes for their performances this past week on behalf of their teams.

Soccer Athlete-of-the-Week  Offense	Davi Vercosa Soares Freshman Midfield Brazil
	The Performance:  Central attacking midfielder Davi Vercosa Soares scored a goal in each of the Blue Devils' games this week, including the game-winning goal in the fifth minute of overtime as Riverland defeated Lake Superior 2-1 on Sunday...with the win at LSC, the Blue Devils move to 1-1 in MCAC play

Soccer Athlete-of-the-Week  Defense	Fatima Sanchez Hernandez  Freshman Goalkeeper  Banning, CA
	The Performance:          Fatima Sanchez Hernandez added her third shut out of the season with 12 saves versus Crown College (varsity team) in a 3-0 win...the Banning, California freshman also had a season-high 16 saves against Viterbo University in a 4-0 loss...RCTC is 4-1 overall with  Sanchez Hernandez in the goal this season
