MCAC Women's Basketball: Southern All-Division Honors

In the Minnesota College Athletic Conference, women's basketball teams in the Southern Division found themselves chasing Anoka-Ramsey Community College during the race for the regular season championship. 

In the end, top honors went to the Golden Rams at 9-1 in MCAC play, while Western Technical College (8-2) took second place, claiming the No. 2 seed in the Region XIIIA tournament.  Minnesota West CTC (5-5) finished third in the Southern Division, followed by SCTCC, Ridgewater and Riverland.

Dave DeWitt, veteran head coach for Anoka-Ramsey, was tabbed the adidas/Nicklasson Athletic Coach-of-the-Year in the MCAC Southern Division by his peers.
