Northland Community & Technical College wrestling student-athlete Kaven Blazek has earned the MCAC Wrestler-of-the-Week for his work on the mat recently. 

Wrestling at the Dragon Open in the 165 lb. Division, finishing in fourth place overall in his weight class.  Along the way, Blazek knocked off MCAC foe Austin Voss of Itasca Community College and won by fall over Alex Sandoval, a four-year college student-athlete at Minot State. 

Wrestling across the Minnesota College Athletic Conference heats up in the coming weeks, with several events attracting MCAC programs and the MCAC Duals to be held at Rochester Community & Technical College in mid-January, fans, families and followers of MCAC Wrestling programs will see plenty of action.  Recently
