As wrestling teams from the Minnesota College Athletic Conference head into the holiday break, a Northland Community & Technical College student-athlete has earned the MCAC Wrestler-of-the-Week for his efforts on behalf of the Pioneer squad.
Wrestling across the MCAC heats up in the coming weeks, with several events attracting Conference programs and the MCAC Duals to be held at Rochester Community & Technical College in mid-January, fans, families and followers of MCAC Wrestling programs will see plenty of action.

The Performance: Northland's Micah Butler provided the Pioneers a spark in a recent dual-meet victory.
Trailing 18-0 after three matches in a dual meet that started at 174 pounds, the freshman from Columbus, GA pinned Itasca's Joshua Booker to get the Pioneers on the board. Butler's win was one of seven straight for the Pioneers, who went on to defeat the Vikings 37-18.
