All-State Volleyball Teams and NJCAA National Tournament Information

As the 2017 NJCAA volleyball season heads into it's final weekend of play, the MCAC All-State Volleyball team has been released.  Additionally, the NJCAA Division III Volleyball tournament participants, bracket and host site information is available for the 2017 NJCAA Division III National Tournament. 

The Northern Division and Southern Division of Minnesota College Athletic Conference volleyball registered nine student-athletes apiece on the 2017 All-State Volleyball First and Second teams. 

Furthermore, Paige Wallevand (Central Lakes College) earned Northern Division Player-of-the-Year honors as the top ranked athlete in her Division, while Kalli Mathiasen (St. Cloud Technical & Community College) is the Player-of-the-Year in the Southern Division. 

Mentors Heidi Smith (St. Cloud Technical & Community College) and Marie Johnson (Minnesota West CTC) were honored as the Gopher Sport/MCAC Coach-of-the-Year for their work with their programs, while Jane Peterson earned the Gopher Sport/MCAC Coach-of-the-Year nod from her peers in the North.
