Central Lakes Mentor Honored

Rochester, Mn-

Central Lakes College women's volleyball coach Jane Peterson was recently named as one of the American Volleyball Coaches Association's West Region Coach-of-the-Year for the 2017 season.

The Raiders mentor recently completed her 27th season at the helm of the Central Lakes team.  The fall season in the MCAC Northern Division was controlled from start to finish by CLC, as they ran away with a perfect 14-0 Divisional mark and swept the NJCAA Region XIIIB tournament.  In the National Championship tournament - held at Rochester Community and Technical College - Central Lakes finished in 3rd place overall.  Peterson's 2017 Coach-of-the-Year award is her third such honor, having previously received the same distinction in 2013 and 2007.
