After a week of highlights and milestones, several volleyball teams from across the Minnesota College Athletic Conference take to gyms around the state Friday and Saturday.
Friday features six matches, including a MCAC Southern Division faceoff between St. Cloud Technical & Community College and Minnesota West CTC in Worthington at 6:30pm. Both teams are off to strong starts, as the Cyclones are 8-1 on the year and the Lady Jays sport a 6-0 mark so far in 2019.
A handful of teams converge on Rochester Community & Technical College for the RCTC Invitational, including Central Lakes College, Rock Valley College, College of DuPage and Des Moines Area Community College, among others. Mesabi Range College also travels to Century College on Friday for a 6:30pm match.
Saturday, September 6 will feature tournament play at two sites; Rochester's Invitational continues with several contests at the UCR Region Sports Complex and Anoka-Ramsey Community College serves as host to several squads including Mesabi Range, DCTC, the University of St. Thomas JV team and others. Over 15 matches involving MCAC squads will take place on Saturday.
