Non-Conference Play for Several MCAC Volleyball Teams This Weekend

Winona, MN-

Several volleyball teams in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference step out of MCAC play this weekend to take part in tournaments and non-conference contests around the Midwest. 

Rochester Community & Technical College, Minnesota West CTC, Anoka-Ramsey Community College find themselves in Iowa, taking on several top NJCAA Division II programs.  

Minnesota State-Fergus Falls will take on the JV team from Concordia College-Moorhead, while Riverland Community College will face off with first-year program Century College.  

Several teams were also in action on Friday evening, with a mix of MCAC contests and non-Conference match-ups. 

Western Technical College picked up an upset win on Friday, defeating St. Cloud Technical & Community College 3-2 in La Crosse, Wisconsin in the only MCAC Divisional action of the weekend. 

The top ranked RCTC Yellowjackets suffered their first defeat of the season to Highland Community College, but will look to rebound today as they take on Johnson County Community College and Des Moines Area Community College today.
