All-Region XIII Softball Teams Released

Rochester, MN –

NJCAA Region XIII has announced the All-Region XIII A and B softball teams for 2022.

The MCAC South softball programs consisting of Anoka-Ramsey, M State - Fergus Falls, Minnesota West, Ridgewater, Rochester, and St. Cloud Technical & Community College, compete in Region XIII A.  St. Cloud Technical & Community College was undefeated through the Region XIII A Tournament on May 13-14 to claim a bid to the NJCAA DIII National Softball Championships in Syracuse, NY on May 25-28. 

This year, the MCAC North softball programs of Central Lakes, Hibbing, Itasca, Mesabi Range, Northland, Rainy River, and Vermilion, along with the independent colleges of North Dakota State College of Science and Dakota College - Bottineau, competed in Region XIII B. North Dakota State College of Science won the championship to advance to the NJCAA DIII National Softball Championships.  The independent colleges rotate each year between competing in Region XIII A and Region XIII B. 

Coaches from Region XIII A and Region XIII B selected their respective All-Region teams. St. Cloud Tech and Anoka-Ramsey each had three players named to the All-Region XIII A Team, while Rochester had two and Minnesota West had one. In Region XIII B, Central Lakes and Itasca each named three players to the team, Northland had two players, and North Dakota State College of Science, Dakota College - Bottineau, and Vermilion each had one.
