MCAC Soccer Athletes-of-the-Week

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its weekly soccer awards for the week of August 22-28.  Rochester Community and Technical College goalkeeper, Jordan Weber, has been named the Women's Soccer Goalkeeper-of-the-Week after shutting out Madison College and saving 3 shots on goal. Teammate Amy Gonzalez, center back, brings home the Defensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week award limiting Madison College to only 3 shots on the day.  Anoka-Ramsey Community College forward, Hailey Babcock, earned the week's Offensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week award after scoring two goals on her three shots against Dakota County Technical College.

Lake Superior College attacking midefielder, Ulrich Mvogo, earns the MCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week.  Mvogo scored one goal on three shots in his 68 minutes of action and helped his team defeat Alexandria College in their first game of the seaon.
