All-MCAC and All-Region 13 Women's Soccer Teams Announced

Rochester, MN –

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) and NJCAA Region 13 has announced the All-MCAC and All-Region 13 Women's Soccer Team for the 2022 season.

The 11-member All-MCAC and All-Region 13 teams were selected by the women's soccer coaches in the MCAC.  In the 2022 season, Lake Superior College and Rochester Community & Technical College were the two teams completing the season.  Anoka-Ramsey Community College began the season but due to injuries and other issues, they had to end their season early. Alexandria College competed as a club team this season.  With only two teams competing, the All-MCAC and All-Region 13 teams are comprised of the same student-athletes.

Jordan Weber, goalkeeper for Rochester Community & Technical College, has been named the Player-of-the-Year; and her coach, Bryan Weiss, has been named the Coach-of-the-Year.  Weber started 14 games for the Yellowjackets, giving up only 6 goals in over 1200 minutes of action.  She was 9-0-3 and had 59 saves on the season.  Weber also leads the nation in shutouts with 8.  Coach Weiss led his Yellowjackets team to a 9-2-3 record in 2022 and recently won the Region 13 title.  His Yellowjackets will travel to Madison, WI on Friday to take on Harper College in the NJCAA D-III Great Lakes District Women's Soccer Tournament.
