Four Teams Advance in the MCAC/Region 13 Football Playoffs

Rochester, MN -

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) Football Playoffs continue on Sunday, and the semifinal matchups should be exciting ones.  

The #1 team in the nation, Minnesota State Community & Technical College (8-0), had a bye in the quarterfinal round of action and will now play host to Rochester Community & Technical College (5-4) in the semifinals.  Rochester defeated Minnesota North College - Measbi Range 27-7 to advance.

North Dakota State College of Science (7-1) played their way into the semifinals with a win over Minnesota North College - Vermilion 47-20.  With a national ranking of #3, NDSCS will host Central Lakes College (4-3). The Raiders picked up a win over Minnesota West Community & Technical College in the quarterfinal round 49-8.

The winners of each MCAC semifinal games will move on the MCAC Championship Game held at 1:00 PM on November 6 at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN. 

 

Schedule of the MCAC Semifinals:  Sunday, October 30

#4 Rochester at #1 M State  1:30 PM

#3 Central Lakes at #2 NDSCS  2:30 PM
