Northland to Host Region 13 Wrestling Championships

The five Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCACwrestling programs will travel to Thief River Falls, Minnesota for the 2022-23 NJCAA Region 13 North District Wrestling Championships on Sunday, February 19, 2023.  The tournament will be held at and hosted by Northland Community & Technical College and serves as a national qualifying tournament. 

This single-day event will also crown one team as the MCAC Wrestling Tournament Champion for 2022-23.

Minnesota North College - ItascaMinnesota West Community and Technical CollegeRidgewater College, and Rochester Community & Technical College will join host Northland Community & Technical College in competition at several weight classes. 

The top individual performances in each division will earn the opportunity to represent their college and the MCAC at the 2023 NJCAA Wrestling National Championships held March 3-4 at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

On Sunday, competition begins at 10:00 AM in the Northland Gymnasium.  Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students, and concessions will be available during the tournament.
