The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its weekly football athletes of the week awards for the week of August 21 - 27.
Rochester Community and Technical College swept the awards this week. Wide receiver Terrence Isaac Jr. and running back Christian Parrish each brought home an Offensive Player-of-the-Week award. Terrence Isaac Jr. had 3 catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns in the Yellowjackets convincing 45-6 win over #4 ranked Hocking Community College. Christian Parrish had 13 carries for 140 rushing yards and one catch for 44 yards and a touchdown.
RCTC defensive lineman, Mario Mendoza, had 10 tackles, a sack, two fumble recoveries, an interception, and a safety to earn the Defensive Player-of-the-Week honor.
There were no nominations for the Special Teams Player-of-the-Week award.
