MCAC Soccer Athletes of the Week: Week of September 4 - 10

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its weekly soccer awards for the week of September 4-10. 

There were no nominations this week for the MCAC Women's Soccer Athletes-of-the-Week.

Riverland Community College swept the men's soccer awards for the second straight week. Goalkeeper, Camden Williams, earned the MCAC Men's Soccer Goalkeeper-of-the-Week honor. This week, Williams had 13 saves in 180 minutes and gave up four goals in 17 shots. Alex Ulrich, defenseman for the Blue Devils, picked up the Defensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week award. Ulrich scored one goal and had one assist in the team's win over Lake Superior College. Said Geelle, Riverland's midfielder, earned the Offensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week honor. Geelle scored two goals on 10 shots. His first goal came on a penalty kick, and then four minutes later, he scored on a direct free kick.
