North Plains District 13A Softball Tournament Information

Rochester Community and Technical College will host the NJCAA North Plains District 13A Softball Tournament on May 9-10, 2024.  This year's District 13A Tournament is held at the Rochester Fastpitch Complex in Rochester, MN. 

In the four-team tournament, the Rochester Community and Technical College Yellowjackets enter as the #1 seed. With a strong season in the MCAC North Division, Minnesota North College-Rainy River will be the #2 seed. St. Cloud Technical and Community College, who tied Rochester for the MCAC South title, enters the tournament as the #3 seed. Minnesota State Community and Technical College secured the #4 seed after finishing 4th in the MCAC South.   

The winner of the North Plains District 13A Tournament will advance to the NJCAA National Championships in Chattanooga, TN, on May 22-25, 2024.

Location: Rochester Fastpitch Softball Complex located at 827 36th Ave. SE, Rochester, MN

 

Admission: Free admission

 

Schedule of Games:

Thursday, May 9

Game 1- 11:00am: Minnesota North College-Rainy River vs. St. Cloud Technical and Community College

Game 2- 1:00pm: Rochester Community and Technical College vs. Minnesota State Community and Technical College

Game 3- 3:00pm: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2

Game 4- 5:00pm:  Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2

 

Friday, May 10

Game 5- 11:00am: Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4

Game 6- 1:00pm: Championship -  Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5

Game 7- 3:00pm: If Necessary Game

** In the event of poor weather, the scheduled games may be held on Saturday.
