Cyclone Earns Top Defensive Honor in NJCAA Baseball

The NJCAA announced today that sophomore infielder Matt Quade of St. Cloud Technical & Community College has been named the 2018 Spalding® NJCAA DIII Baseball Defensive Player of the Year, as voted on by the NJCAA DIII Baseball Committee. 

Quade earned MCAC Central Division 1st Team, 2018 NJCAA ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove and NJCAA All-Academic, 2nd Team honors this past season.  The Paynesville, Minnesota product was also tabbed as SCTCC's Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2017-18.
