MCAC Executive Committee Information:
The Executive Committee (EC) of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference is a 12-person advisory committee which handles the day-to-day business and administration of the Conference. Ten EC members are divided into men's and women's leadership roles and have voting privileges on Conference matters. The Conference office and the Minnesota State Colleges & University system office representatives do not vote on Conference matters and serve only in advisory capacities.
Five members of the Executive Committee shall serve in administrative roles at their institutions; five members of the Executive Committee shall serve in athletic coordinator and/or coaching roles at their institutions. The EC shall meet by teleconference no less than once per month, August-thru-June; meeting minutes are available below. Persons interested in serving on the MCAC Executive Committee shall self-nominate or be nominated prior to or during the Spring General Assembly meeting. From time to time, openings may exist within the EC due to retirements, changes in employment or other factors. When these situations occur, a call for nominations shall be circulated within the presidents of the MCAC member colleges in an effort to create a pool of candidates for these roles.
