Riverland Takes Two from Raiders

Rochester, Mn-

In Minnesota College Athletic Conference baseball action on Friday, April 21, Riverland Community College swept Central Lakes College in double-header action.

In the first game, Riverland needed only 5 innings to dispatch Central Lakes, running away to 12-1 victory.  The second game proved to be closer - with pitching and defense stepping up for both sides - but the Blue Devils secured a 5-2 win to complete the sweep.

With the victories, Riverland moves to 17 -4 on the year, while Central Lakes drops to 1-29.  Both squads continue action this weekend, with CLC hosting St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Saturday and Riverland traveling to Anoka Ramsey Community College.  Both sets of double headers are 1pm/3pm game times.
