With the conclusion of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference gridiron season, the All-Division teams for MCAC Football have been named for 2017.

Head coaches from each member college nominated their own student-athletes and voted on team placement of the recognized individuals.  In the Eastern Division,  MCAC State Championship Game finalist Mesabi Range College and Divisional Champion Central Lakes College led the way with a pair of defensive standouts at the top of the list.

Central Lakes defensive lineman Brendon Loch and his Mesabi Range counterpart Justin Hooks were dominant at their positions in the MCAC ranks and both among the best in the NJCAA in 2017.  Offensively, Nuke Crowell carried the football and the running load for the Raiders on the way to their Divisional title, while MRC quarterback Deabrie Smith orchestrated a late-season surge for the Norsemen, leading them to a pair of road wins in the MCAC playoffs and a runner-up spot in the MCAC State Championship game.

Rochester CTC had an imposing defensive threat of their own with linebacker Brandon Perce leading the MCAC and placing second in the NJCAA in tackles per game, earning Week 3 National Player-of-the-Week honors in September.    Vermilion Community College student-athlete Danilson Da Veiga-Semedo was both a Conference and NJCAA top performer, while Itasca Community College running back DJ Hickman was tough to stop for opposing defenses.  Fond du Lac Tribal & Community College running back Lorine Parker was also a handful for opponents in 2017 while his defensive teammate Tyrick Carmickle joins him with First Team honors for the Eastern Division.
