Top Seed Anoka-Ramsey Headline Performers at RCTC Tonight

Rochester, MN:

"Hurry up and wait."  After a long season in which it twice rose the #1 national ranking in NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball, the Anoka-Ramsey men's basketball squad will have to wait a little longer today as it pursues a National Championship.

Ron Larson's Golden Rams will tip-off the final game of the quarterfinal round, as #1 Anoka will face #8 seed MassBay CC in a 7pm game, tonight at Rochester Community and Technical College.  Anoka-Ramsey will play after the Noon, 2pm and 4pm contests conclude, and they hope the stage is set for a strong homestate crowd to help the MCAC South and MCAC Tournament Champion on to victory.

Anoka-Ramsey has won it's last eight match-ups and they hope to keep the March Madness rolling against the MassBay Buccaneers, who bring a 19-12 record into the tournament. Paced by the dual-threat offense prowess of Mamadou Ngom and Edvonte Copeland, who combined account for about 33 points per game, Anoka will hope home court advantage and their recent momentum will carry them into the semi-final round.
