Top seeded Central Lakes College to host NJCAA Region XIIIB Softball Tournament

Central Lakes College will be the host of the 2022 Region XIIIB/ North Plains District B Tournament on May 14-15, 2022. This year's Region XIIIB Tournament is held at the Paul C. Findorff Athletic Complex in Brainerd, MN. Central Lakes College, who is the top seed in the tournament, will compete against #2 North Dakota State College of Science, #3 Itasca Community College, and either Hibbing Community College or Northland Community and Technical College. Hibbing and Northland will complete a weather-suspended tiebreaking game on Friday at 1:00 PM with the winner becoming the #4 seed in the tournament.

The winner of the Region XIIIB Tournament will advance to the NJCAA Softball National Tournament in Syracuse, New York on May 25-28, 2022.

Region XIIIB Tournament Information:

Location: Paul C. Findorff Athletic Complex across from the Central Lakes College - Brainerd campus

Admission: Daily Rate Cash only at the gate

Adults- $8/day

Students (including w/College ID) & Seniors- $5

Saturday, May 14

Game 1- 10:00am: North Dakota State College of Science vs. Itasca Community College

Game 2- 12:00pm: Central Lakes College vs. winner of Hibbing/Northland tiebreaker

Game 3- 2:00pm: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2

Game 4- 4:00pm: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2

Sunday, May 15

Game 5- 11:00am: Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4

Game 6- 1:00pm: Championship - Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 6

Game 7- 3:00pm: If Necessary Game
