MCAC Soccer Athletes of the Week: Week of August 29 - September 4

Rochester, MN-

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its weekly soccer awards for the week of August 29 - September 4.  Rochester Community and Technical College goalkeeper, Jordan Weber, has been named the Women's Soccer Goalkeeper-of-the-Week for the second straight week with her three shutouts and seven saves during the week. RCTC's Kaitlyn Weiss, defender, has been named the Defensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week by playing a crucial role in limiting the Yellowjackets' opponents to only 7 shots on goal without any hitting the back of the net.  Three is not a crowd in this case as RCTC forward, Mackenzie Polson, earned the week's Offensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week award after scoring four goals on her seven shots on goal, two of which were game winners, and helping her team sweep the women's soccer weekly awards.

There were no nominations for men's soccer athletes of the week.
