Region 13 Men's Soccer Tournament Begins; Women's Soccer Championship on Saturday

The NJCAA Region 13 Men's Soccer Tournament begins Thursday, October 20; and the Region 13 Women's Soccer Championship Game will be played on Saturday. 

Anoka-Ramsey Community College, with their 8-0 record in the MCAC, will be the #1 seed of the men's tournament and will host #4 seeded Lake Superior College at 2:00 PM.  Lake Superior finished with MCAC regular season with a conference record of 3-5.

Riverland Community College is the #2 seed in the men's tournament and will host #3 seed Alexandria College at 1:00 PM.  Riverland is 6-2 in MCAC action this season, while Alexandria is 3-5 in their inaugural season. 

Winners of each game will advance to the Region 13 Men's Soccer Championship Game on Sunday at the highest remaining seed's home site.

In Region 13 Women's Soccer, only two teams participated this season - Rochester Community & Technical College and Lake Superior College.  The teams split in their two head-to-head MCAC matchups during the season. Rochester will be the #1 seed and championship game host based on the tiebreaking format of least conceded goals, and Lake Superior College will be the #2 seed.  The championship game will take place at Rochester Community & Technical College on Saturday at 1:00 PM.

#3 Alexandria at #2 Riverland - 1:00 PM
