The NJCAA DIII Region 13 Women's Soccer Team was announced today, and 11 athletes from the MCAC made the distinguished team. Three forwards, three midfielders, three defenders, a goalkeeper, and a wild card player (any position) were named from the four competing teams within the region.
Rochester Community & Technical College, who won the MCAC regular season title and Region 13 Championship, placed six players on the team. After finishing 2-3-1 in the MCAC regular season, Alexandria Technical & Community College had three players qualify for the region team, while Anoka-Ramsey Community College (2-3-1 in the MCAC) and Lake Superior College (0-4-2 in the MCAC) each placed one player on the team.
