RCTC Hosts 2024 North Plains District National Wrestling Qualifier

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCACwrestling programs will hit the mats at Rochester Community and Technical College (Rochester, MN) on Sunday, February 18th, for the 2024 NJCAA Region 13 North Plains District Wrestling Championships. The tournament competition will begin at 11:00 AM in the Regional Sports Center on the RCTC campus.

This one-day event serves as a national qualifying tournament for the NJCAA Wrestling National Championships. On Sunday, one team will also walk away with the 2024 MCAC Wrestling Tournament Champion title.

Minnesota North College - ItascaMinnesota West Community and Technical CollegeNorthland Community & Technical College, and Ridgewater College will join host Rochester Community & Technical College in competition at the ten weight classes. 

The top individual performances in each weight class will earn the opportunity to represent their college and the MCAC at the 2024 NJCAA Wrestling National Championships held March 1-2 at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Tickets for the Region 13 North Plains District Wrestling Championships will be available for purchase at the facility entrance on the morning of the event.
