The Minnesota College Athletic Conference women's softball Southern Division will see a key series played on Tuesday, April 10th between Anoka-Ramsey and St. Cloud Tech. The Golden Rams will head into that double header with this week's Southern Division Co-Pitcher-of-the-Week, as Quincy Gross has earned the honor for her performances April 3-9.
Gross earned two complete game wins for Anoka in the past seven days, and came off the bench to earn a save in a third appearance. On Tuesday, April 4th, the sophomore hurler helped defeat Minnesota State Fergus Falls 4-2 in a seven inning complete game effort and returned late in game two to face the Spartans in picking up the save in ARCC's 11-5 victory. Gross also picked up a 6-1 win over Central Lakes College.
Anoka-Ramsey hosts St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Tuesday and will travel to the University of Northwestern on Wednesday to face the UNW JV squad.
