Later this week, MCAC State Tournament men's basketball champion Minnesota West CTC will begin the quest to earn the 2018 NJCAA Division III Basketball National Championship in Loch Sheldrake, New York. One of the two lowest seeds in the State Tournament, the Blue Jays reeled off three consecutive upset wins on their run to the MCAC/Region XIII State title. The NJCAA Tournament will feature eight qualifiers from around the county as they tip-off in pursuit of the National Championship hardware. In the Minnesota College Athletic Conference, the 'MCAC All-State Team' has been named for the 2018 season. The 'All-State' team features the top 14 men's basketball student-athletes, as voted upon by the Northern and Southern Division head coaches.
