Two Minnesota College Athletic Conference baseball programs are recognized in the most recent NJCAA Division III baseball poll, released on May 2nd.

Remaining at the #3 spot, St. Cloud Technical and Community College wrapped up another successful week, despite suffering their first divisional loss of the 2017 campaign, 10-9 to Minnesota State Fergus-Falls.  The Cyclones rallied to win the nightcap of that twinbill 9-1 over the Spartans, and swept Northland Community and Technical College the next day, 4-2 and 11-0.   With the 3-1 weekend, SCTCC sits as 9-1 in the Central and 27-5 overall.  Only Cumberland County and Niagara County sit higher than the Cyclones, at the #1 and #2 spot, respectively.

Riverland Community College moved back into the Top 10 in the current poll, coming in at the tenth slot after being in the "Receiving Votes" category the week prior.   RCC has won 11 straight ballgames and swept local rival RCTC , 4-2 and 4-0 on Saturday, April 29th.  The Blue Devils have an important series with Minnesota West on Thursday, May 4th looming on the horizon.
