Keonte' Jenkins had a 24 points per game average in a season opening 95-75 win over Leech Lake Tribal College.  The Ft. Wayne sophomore had five boards, was 9-of-10 from the field including a perfect  2-of-2 from three point range.  Jenkins was also 4-of-4 from the free throw line and had a pair of blocks in the contest.  Jenkins and Central Lakes next play on Friday, November 17th when they take on United Tribes Technical College.

Weekly Highlights:
Against the JV teams of Dordt College and Northwestern College, Riverland Community College sophomore Jace Klinkner  averaged 35.5 points per game to open the 2017-18 season.  The Woodbury sophomore averaged four rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.  Overall, Klinker was 50% from the field and hit for 44.4% from behind the arc.  He also was at an 86.7% from the free-throw line.  Jace Klinker and Riverland next play against the JV team from Luther College on Thursday, November 16th.
