Mesabi Range College softball pitcher Joely Roberts had a full week for the Lady Norse- and it was a good week for Roberts and her teammates.  Roberts collected four wins between April 2 and April 9, a feat that earned her MCAC Northern Division Pitcher-of-the-Week Honors.  

The freshman from Iron, Minnesota, appeared in five MCAC contests, going 4-1 overall, and raising her season record to 7-6. Roberts struck out 21 batters along the way, while only walking four.  Her solid performance for the Lady Norse helped raise the Mesabi ledger to 8-7 on the season and has MRC riding a five game winning streak heading into key Divisional games in April.

Mesabi Range is next in action on Saturday, April 15th when they compete in the Bill McBride Softball Invitational in Grand Rapids.
