In women's soccer, Anoka-Ramsey Community College led from start to finish in the regular season, going unbeaten in both MCAC and NJCAA Region XIII contests. Lake Superior College took second place in the league standings, but third-place RCTC found a way past the Ice Hawks in Region playoffs, defeating LSC on the road in Duluth by a 2-1 scoreline. Anoka-Ramsey ended any hopes of successive Yellowjacket upsets in the Region Final, and the Golden Rams booked a ticket to the District tournament. Madison (WI) College ended the Anoka-Ramsey season with a 2-1 overtime win over ARCC, denying the Rams a second consecutive trip to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament. Coach Brady Eichhorn-Hicks was named the Gopher Sport / MCAC Women's Soccer Coach of the year, while Anoka-Ramsey forward Kati Beckman received the highest vote total in MCAC women's soccer balloting for 2017.
